As Though Everything Depended on Me

The title was the motto of Kurt Lenz, a courageous and talented German journalist who tried to halt fascism in his country by using his typewriter. He had also been through the horrors of World War I and did what he could to avoid another war. We need such journalists in big numbers today, because they still shape our view of the world.
